Brian Sawka has worked for Delaware Audiology Group, P.C. since 2009. He completed his clinical doctorate in audiology at the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2009. He has received specialized training in balance and vertigo assessment during his clinical fellowship year at the American Institute of Balance from 2008 to 2009 under the direction of Dr. Richard Gans, Ph.D. Dr. Sawka has been a guest lecturer on multiple occasions for UB graduate students for patient management of vertigo and balance assessment. While maintaining a special interest in vertigo assessment, his interests also include electrophysiological assessment of hearing as well as hearing aid fitting. He holds Certification of Clinical Competency from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) and is an adjunct professor with State University of New York at Buffalo Communicative Disorders and Sciences Department.
